This application is for UIW students wanting to return to complete their post-baccalaureate program of study. Students who have not been actively enrolled for more than one Fall or Spring semester must complete a Readmission Application for review.
Previous admission to a graduate program does not guarantee readmission.
Post-baccalaureate level students wishing to return to their program of study at the University of the Incarnate Word who have attended other higher education institutions must submit an official transcript from each institution. Eligibility for readmission of any former student depends on the student’s academic status at the end of the last UIW semester of enrollment and performance on any subsequent college or university work attempted.
A student is considered inactive due to the following reasons:
- The student has not been enrolled for more than one Spring or Fall semester.
- The student withdrew from the university.
- The student was scholastically dismissed.
- The student was on an approved leave of absence.
Readmitted students should expect to meet the published degree requirements at the point of their re-entry. Courses older than seven (7) years at the time of re-matriculation cannot be used toward the degree except with prior written approval from the Program Director and the Director of Graduate Studies at the time of readmission.
Read the complete readmission policy.
