    • Cash (new monies) means requested additional institutional funds that are not already existing in the operating budget.
    • Budgeted Monies (including salaries) means monies from the existing operating budget to be assigned to support the project.
    • In-Kind means contributions such as facilities, equipment, materials, or services of recognized value that are offered in lieu of cash to support the project.
    • Matching Indirect Costs means unrecovered indirect costs that are used to satisfy cost sharing requirements.
