  • Policy: 

    Denied applicants wishing to appeal the graduate admission decision must submit an appeal to the graduate admissions committee within ten (10) working days of receipt of the admission decision letter.

    The applicant will be notified in writing of the committee’s decision within ten (10) working days of acknowledging receipt of this appeal form.

  • Instructions:

    Complete this form to appeal being denied admission to a graduate program.

    This form is NOT intended for students who have been academically dismissed! Please consult the Graduate Catalog to appeal academic dismissal.

    Understand that the graduate admissions committee's decision is final and may not be appealed further.

    Applicant must include a Personal Statement indicating the circumstances to be considered in the appeal and upload documentation of any new information that may support the appeal.

    New information is defined as that which was not available or known to the applicant and that could not have been available or known to the applicant with the exercise of due diligence by the applicant at the time of submission of the application.
